Meeting and Incentive Forums, run by Worldwide Events, has included Dubai for the first time in its annual calendar of worldwide meetings, announcing the emirate as the host of the new M&I Forum Europe Spring 2015 from March 9 to 14, 2015, at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. The event is part of M&I Forums’ six events for 2015, which will take place at several destinations worldwide. According to Worldwide Events, the forum aims to respond to a growing demand for more events targeting the destination.
Since it was launched in 2006 in London, each M&I Forum has become one of the most important industry events of the global meetings sector, with its format of one-to-ones and networking activities finding favour among event planners and suppliers able to connect with each other. In the forums’ present format, participating suppliers conduct a series of private 18-minute meetings with a minimum of 50 qualified buyers during the four-day events. All meetings are pre-scheduled, with both the buyers and suppliers selecting their appointments. Buyers attend the events for two days and can choose which dates they prefer. Throughout the event, functions and activities such as lunches, refreshment breaks, drinks receptions, gala dinners and social activities, provide constant opportunities for networking.
